Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduction in weight of a hoist for an elevator.SOLUTION: A hoist for an elevator comprises: a housing 1; an annular stator 22 provided in the housing; a main shaft 19 of which one end is fixed to a center of the stator; a sheave 14 provided in a rotatable manner on the main shaft; a brake disc 26 formed integrally with the sheave; an annular rotor 31 formed integrally with the sheave; an electromagnetic brake unit 15 braking the brake disc by a pair of brake shoes; and a brake bracket 50 being fixed to the housing and supporting the electromagnetic brake unit. In the electromagnetic brake unit, an amateur 28 holding the other brake shoe 27a at a position closer to a sheave side than a brake surface of the brake disc is arranged while a brake body 33 holding one brake shoe 27b at a position closer to a housing side than the brake surface of the brake disc is being arranged. The brake bracket has a support shaft 37 supporting the brake body in a movable manner in an axial direction at a position closer to the housing side than the brake surface of the brake disc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
