Abstract:
To provide a speed reduction and reverse gear 18 that transmits power of at least either of an engine 16 and a power generation motor 30 mounted on a ship 1 to a propeller 5 through a forward reverse mechanism 25, in which the speed reduction reverse gear 18 can be downsized as a whole.SOLUTION: The speed reduction and reverse gear 18 according to the present invention comprises an operating oil path 51 extending from oil tanks 19 to the forward reverse mechanism 25. A main hydraulic pump 28 that is driven by power of the engine 16 is arranged on the operating oil path 51. A lubricant oil path 55 for pouring oil into the forward reverse mechanism 25 and the other gear group 47 is branched from a space between the main hydraulic pump 28 on the operating oil path 51 and the forward reverse mechanism 25. The gear comprises a bypass oil path 75 connecting the oil tanks 19 to the lubricant oil path 55. A sub-hydraulic pump 77 that is driven by power of a driving source 76 different from the engine 16 is arranged on the bypass oil path 75. A check valve 79 that opens only to the lubricant oil path 55 is arranged at a discharge side of the sub-hydraulic pump 77 on the bypass oil path 75.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
