Abstract:
To provide a magnet separator having high durability, which is hardly affected by foreign matter contained in liquid.SOLUTION: A magnet separator includes a separator body having a storage part for storing liquid in which a magnetic substance is contained, a magnet drum provided in the separator body, and a driving part provided outside the separator body. The magnet drum includes a first shaft extending in a horizontal direction, a cylinder having an outer peripheral surface and an inner peripheral surface opposite to the outer peripheral surface, which is provided inside the separator body, and is rotatably supported by the first shaft so that at least part of it is immersed in the liquid, a magnet which is provided opposed to the inner peripheral surface and forms a magnetic field region to which the magnetic substance can adhere in a fixed range in a circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface, and a second shaft provided on the same line as the central axis of the first shaft, which extends toward the outside of the separator body, and rotates together with the cylinder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
