Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus in which a height of a top board can be maintained at a desired height when the top board is moved into a cradle, and a movable type bed device for the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus comprises a bed device 110, a cradle, a detection section and a control section. The bed device 110 has a top board 111 on which a subject is placed and a top board support table supporting the top board 111. The cradle has a static magnetic field magnet 101. The detection section detects the height of at least either the top board 111 or the top board support table. The control section, during the period while the top board 111 is moved into the cradle, controls the height of the top board support table so that the height of the top board support table becomes the desired height according to the height detected by the detection section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
