Abstract:

To provide a magnetron, which is suppressed in temperature rise of an end hat, thereby achieving a stable operation.SOLUTION: An end hat 8 includes: a hat cylinder part 81 which is cylindrical and has an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of a sleeve 6; and a shield part 82 which spreads outward from one end of the hat cylinder part 81 to prevent the leakage of electrons from a cathode 5 in an axial direction. The sleeve 6 is inserted into the hat cylinder part 81 such that the shield part 82 faces the cathode 5, and the other end of the hat cylinder part 81 is connected to the sleeve 6 at the outside of a heater 7 while a gap G is provided between the inner peripheral surface of the hat cylinder part 81 and the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
