To calibrate a measured value of a flowmeter on-line so that a flow rate of fluid containing a solid content may not deviate from a set value.
This flow control equipment 15 includes a tank 1 which stores the fluid containing the solid content, a pump 8 which supplies the fluid to the tank 1, a tank level control means 6 which makes the pump 8 stop and operate on the occasion that a storage level of the fluid reaches the upper-limit/lower-limit level of the tank 1, the flowmeter 4 which measures the flow rate of the fluid running out through fluid piping 3 from the tank 1, a calibrating means 6 which calibrates the measured value of the flowmeter 4, and a flow adjusting means 5 which adjusts the flow rate of the fluid flowing through the fluid piping 3 based on the measured value of the flowmeter 4. The calibrating means 6 determines the amount of a change in a storage amount of the fluid within a period wherein the storage level of the fluid in the tank 1 lowers from the upper-limit level to the lower-limit level, calculates an average flow rate of the fluid in at least part of time of this period based on the amount of the change in the storage amount, and calibrates the measured value of the flowmeter 4 by a calculated value of the average flow rate.
