Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor in which welding accuracy and connection strength between a current collector and an external terminal member are enhanced without being affected by processing accuracy of the current collector and the external terminal member.SOLUTION: A capacitor comprises: electrode bodies (an anode body or a cathode body) at an anode side and a cathode side; a capacitor element (4); a sealing member (sealing plate 22) that seals a case member (an exterior case) storing the capacitor element; a single or plural electrode projection parts (an anode portion 6 or a cathode portion 8) that project through an element end surface (5) of the capacitor element; a single or plural current collectors (an anode current collector 12 or a cathode current collector 16) connected to the projected electrode projection parts; and an external terminal member (an anode terminal 10 or a cathode terminal 14) that lies on the current collectors and is welded by irradiation with a laser beam or an electron beam. The current collector and the external terminal member are welded by deviating an irradiation position of a laser beam 69 or an electron beam from a contact surface 65 between the current collector and the external terminal member in a direction crossing the contact surface.
