Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter colorant capable of achieving dispersion stability of advanced fine pigment particles and excellently dispersing a pigment micronized by a developed pigment dispersant having a new dispersant structure.SOLUTION: The color filter colorant composition comprises a pigment, a dye derivative having a basic group, an organic solvent and a pigment dispersant. The pigment dispersant is a polymer of a macro monomer having an addition polymerizable group at a terminal represented by the following general formula and having a number average molecular weight of 1000-10000 and a vinyl based monomer including a monomer having an acidic group, such as acrylic acid. A mass ratio of the macro monomer to the vinyl based monomer including the monomer having an acidic group is 70-95:5-30; an acid value derived from the monomer having an acidic group is 100-778 mgKOH/g; and the polymer has a number average molecular weight of 3000-20000.SELECTED DRAWING: None
