Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compound lithium titanate and a carbon nanofiber, and to provide a composite of lithium titanate and a carbon nanofiber where a carbonization film is formed on the surface of lithium titanate, and a production method therefor.SOLUTION: In a revolving reaction vessel, compounding for producing a composite of lithium titanate and a carbon nanofiber is carried out by applying a shear stress and a centrifugal force to a solution containing a titanic acid source containing lithium titanate, a lithium source containing lithium that contains sucrose, and a carbon nanofiber thereby causing reaction. The composite subjected to the compounding is subjected to heating treatment in the vacuum. A carbon film composed of sucrose is formed on the surface of lithium titanate of the composite.
