PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-base coating composition suitable for forming a coated film having stain resistance durable over a long term.SOLUTION: A water-base coating composition containing an organic silicon compound (A) having an alkoxysilyl group and/or a silanol group, a polyoxyalkylene skeleton and a bivalent hydrocarbon group, in which the polyoxyalkylene skeleton bonds with a silicon atom via the divalent hydrocarbon group, a coating method using the water-base coating composition, and a manufacturing method of the water-base coating composition including a step (I) for manufacturing an organic silicon compound (A) by performing a hydrosilylation reaction with a hydrosilane compound and/or a condensate thereof (a-1), a polyoxyalkylene compound (a-2) having at least one alkenyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
