Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grounding device and a grounding device manufacturing method capable of reducing the number of parts and preventing falling of the parts.SOLUTION: A brush 2 is a conductive brush that comes in contact with a side surface of a conductive axle 20 of a railway vehicle. A coil spring 3 has one end abutting on the brush 2 and is installed on an opposite side to the brush 2 across the axle 20. A relative position of a housing 1 to the axle 20 is fixed, and the housing holds the brush 2 in an in-plane direction orthogonal to an extension direction of the coil spring 3 and abuts on the other end of the coil spring 3 to urge the brush 2 against the axle 20. An abrasion-loss indication rod 4 is formed integrally with the coil spring 3, bent from one end of the coil spring 3 to extend to a coiling center of the coil spring 3, and bent further to the other end of the coil spring 3 to extend linearly to outside of the housing 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
