Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to highly accurately detect an edge position of an active material layer of an electrode plate even when an insulating layer is provided.SOLUTION: A positive electrode 15 comprises a metal foil 25, an active material layer 26, and an insulating layer 30. The active material layer 26 is provided on a surface of the metal foil 25, and includes a principal surface part 26a extending along the surface of the metal foil 25 and an inclined surface part 26b extending from the principal surface part 26a toward the surface of the metal foil 25. The insulating layer 30 is provided from the inclined surface part 26b of the active material layer 26 to the surface of the metal foil 25. The insulating layer 30 includes a folding part 30b in which an inclination angle to the principal surface part 26a of the active material layer 26 discontinuously changes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
