Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a guide rail for a linear motion guide device which is small in an edge load generated at a rolling body when the rolling body collides with a boundary between a rail track groove and a recessed groove of a track groove bottom part.SOLUTION: A guide rail 1 for a linear motion guide device which is withdrawn to a prescribed cross section shape, and applied with heat treatment in an atmosphere, and in which an upper face, a lower face and a side face of a rail raw material are polished comprises: a process for polishing a rolling body rolling groove recess 13 formed at the side face of the rail raw material, and a cage relief groove recess 14 formed at the rolling body rolling groove recess 13; and a process for cutting a boundary between the rolling body rolling groove recess 13 and the cage relief groove recess 14 into an R-shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
