Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container manufacturing method which enables an image to be formed precisely at a high reproducibility by laser processing in a transparent or translucent part of a container without being influenced by curvature, strain, irregularity, etc. present on the surface of the transparent or translucent part.SOLUTION: A transparent or translucent part of a container having at least in a part a transparent or translucent part in contact with an outer face and having a curved part at least in a part of the transparent or translucent part is irradiated with laser beams 103 via a refractive index adjustment layer 13 consisting of a transparent or translucent liquid or elastomer in contact with the transparent or translucent part and via an optical guide member 14 in contact with this refractive index adjustment layer 13, thereby forming at least one image in the transparent or translucent part. The container is a glass, a cup, a wineglass, etc. For example, an image is formed by laser processing in the bottom of a cup made of transparent glass.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
