Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device in which a minute droplet is not separated and discharged before a main droplet even when a nozzle diameter is small, and a droplet is stably discharged.SOLUTION: Individual liquid chambers 1 are formed by partition wall parts configured of piezoelectric bodies. A nozzle plate 30 is disposed at a first end part 1a side in a longitudinal direction A2 of each of the individual liquid chambers 1, and each of the individual liquid chambers is connected to respective nozzles 30a. A manifold 40 is disposed at a second end part 1b side in the longitudinal direction A2 of each of the individual liquid chambers 1 to form a common liquid chamber 43. Each of the individual liquid chambers 1 is connected to the common liquid chamber 43 via a first opening 1c that opens in the longitudinal direction A2 at the second end part 1b and a second opening 1d that opens in a height direction C with respect to the common liquid chamber 43.
