Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of ensuring the satisfactory sealability on a connection part without undergoing a complicated process when manufacturing a molecular sieve membrane structure by connecting a porous separator and a metallic member.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a molecular sieve membrane structure is characterized in that, in the method for manufacturing the molecular sieve membrane structure by connecting a cylindrical porous separator which has a molecular sieve membrane on an inner wall and/or an outer wall of a cylindrical inorganic porous base body and a cylindrical metallic member which can house one end of the porous separator, the metallic member and the porous separator are pressed and connected to each other via a seal member by arranging the seal member between the outer wall of the porous separator and the inner wall of the metallic member and caulking the metallic member toward the porous separator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
