Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an organic EL element enabling stabilization of life characteristics in the high-temperature environment and high luminance drive.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method of manufacturing an organic EL element 10 in which at least an organic light-emitting layer 3d is held between a pair of electrodes 2, 4. This method includes: an energization process step of supplying electricity to the organic EL element 10 in a heating state; and a cooling process step of cooling the organic EL element 10 immediately after the energization process step. After the cooling process step, the organic EL element 10 is prevented from being brought into the heating state. In the cooling process step, the organic EL element 10 is cooled at a temperature having difference between the temperature in the heating state and itself by 50°C or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
