PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a retort barley processed food having each particle in a disentangled state, and free from deformation of barley grains.SOLUTION: In a production method of a retort barley processed food, raw material barley is dipped into water and then boiled, thereafter, the boiled barley is washed with water, placed calmly, filled into a container, sealed leaving an appropriate space, and then subjected to a pressurizing/heating treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: None
