Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal expansion vinyl chloride resin material that may effectively exhibit a function of blocking flame and smoke even in a low temperature region, can be expanded to be an expanded body with high caking power and excellent shape retention and mechanical strength, and can impart water resistance to a product thereof, and a thermal expansion sheet using the same.SOLUTION: A thermal expansion vinyl chloride resin material contains a vinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer for the resin, a thermal expansion graphite, a dehydrochlorination catalyst for the vinyl chloride resin, and a dehydrochlorination inhibiting compound. The dehydrochlorination inhibiting compound is a compound with an amino group and/or ammonium group which has a function of inhibiting a catalytic function of the dehydrochlorination catalyst at temperature of 160-240°C in the beginning of heating. The caking power of an expanded body obtained by heating at 800°C is 0.8 kgf or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None
