Abstract:
To provide a map updating system with which it is possible to appropriately update map data that is used in controlling a self-driving vehicle.SOLUTION: Provided is a map updating system 1 including a storage unit having road network data 30 that includes road section information relating to a prescribed section of road and lane network data 31 that includes lane section information relating to a prescribed section of lane constituting a road, the lane section information being used in controlling a self-driving vehicle based on a route obtained using the road section information. The map updating system 1 further includes an updating control unit 12 for updating the lane section information when an updating instruction for updating a specific version of the road section information is acquired.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
