Abstract:
The system has a main component (6) that has a tubular sleeve (8) having abutment surface (60) and groove (26), and an auxiliary component (4) which is inserted into sleeve with a holding bracket (12). The bracket has a base (14) with retaining pin (36) engaged in the groove, and a guide surface (58). The guide surface is inclined at an acute angle. A clamping element (44) is passed through opposite side (22) of abutment surface and pressed against a pressing surface (66) on the base, so that inclined guide surface is pressed against abutment surface and bracket is tilted. An independent claim is included for mirror assembly for motor vehicle.
