Abstract:
To provide a medical treatment instrument that can achieve reduction in weight and size while maintaining rigidity.SOLUTION: There is provided a medical treatment instrument equipped with a first arm and a second arm, each of which has a first end part and a second end part, the first end parts being connected to each other so that the distance between the second end parts can be adjusted. The first arm and the second arm respectively include a conductor extending from the first end part to the second end part, a support body whose main component is a composite material of resin and a reinforcement material, extending along the conductor, and a cover for coating the conductor and the support body. The conductor includes a conductive part coated by the cover together with the support body, and a tip part electrically connected to the conductive part, which is exposed at the second end part. The tip part includes a convexoconcave that comes in contact with at least one of the support body and the cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
