Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability.SOLUTION: A front and rear face inversion part 40 includes: a carrying and conveyance path 42 which accepts and conveys a bill; an inversion carrying path 46 which branches from the carrying and conveyance path 42, inverts front and rear faces of a rear-face-up bill, and conveys it; a non-inversion conveyance path 44 which branches from the carrying and conveyance path 42, and conveys a front-face-up bill; and a bill carrier control part 74. When a following rear-face-up bill which is a rear-face-up bill and follows a preceding rear-face-up bill is accepted after the preceding rear-face-up bill which is a face inverted rear-face-up bill and precedes, the bill carrier control part 74 determines whether the following rear-face-up bill is conveyed to the inversion carrying path 46, based on an interval between the preceding rear-face-up bill and the following rear-face-up bill.
