To provide a member made of a Co-based alloy for an electric melting furnace for subjecting a high level radioactive waste glass having excellent corrosion resistance to a high temperature molten glass having excellent high temperature strength, and into which nitric acid is poured to solidification treatment.
The member for a Co-based alloy for an electric melting furnace for subjecting a high level radioactive waste glass to solidification treatment has a composition containing, by mass, 25 to 35% Cr, 15 to 25% Fe, 0.1 to 6% Ni, 0.05 to 1% Mo, 0.05 to 1% Mn, 0.1 to 1% Si, 0.001 to 0.05% Al, 0.01 to 0.5% Cu and 0.001 to 0.2% C, and, if required, further comprising 0.1 to 1% W and 0.01 to 0.1% Nb, and the balance Co with inevitable impurities (S: <0.01% and P: <0.1%).
