To provide a method for simply and continuously producing a high concentration liquid softener composition having a low viscosity and good stability with time without using a viscosity-reducing agent.
This method for continuously producing the high concentration liquid softener composition is characterized by comprising a process for feeding an aqueous phase into a piping in which a line mixer equipped with a stirrer rotated in the circumferential direction is disposed and which is extended in the longitudinal direction, a process for continuously feeding an oil phase containing a cationic surfactant mixture into the aqueous phase-fed piping from the upstream side of the stirring blade, and a process for mixing and emulsion-dispersing the oil phase in the piping with the aqueous phase with the stirring blade to obtain the softener composition, feeding the oil phase in the process for feeding the oil phase to give a cationic surfactant concentration of 10 to 40 wt.% in the softener composition, and stirring and emulsion-dispersing the oil phase with the aqueous phase in conditions of 10≤A/B≤300, wherein (I) A m/s is a circumferential speed of the stirring blade, and (II) B m/s is a longitudinal direction linear speed of the aqueous phase and the oil phase passing through the stirring blade.
