Abstract:
The layer-shaped semifinished product has a layer sequence (3), which has a layer of an unconsolidated reinforcing-fiber construction. The layer sequence is arranged under vacuum between an upper film (2) and a lower film (1) made of thermoplastic matrix material, which are connected to each other peripherally in a pressure-retaining manner. The layer sequence comprises a layer of one or more metallic inserts. Thickness, type and dimensions of the metallic inserts vary in different layers or locally in one layer. An independent claim is included for a method for producing the layer-shaped semifinished product.
