Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a flat glass antenna comprising a large number of antenna elements.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a flat glass antenna includes at least a first laser processing step, a second laser processing step, and an etching treatment step. In the first laser processing step, modified parts are formed at positions by emitting laser beams to the positions in a glass preform 24, in which electric supply open holes 20 are to be formed. In the second laser processing step, the modified parts are formed along cutting scheduled lines 21 by emitting laser beams along the cutting scheduled lines 21 corresponding to a shape of a glass substrate 12 to be taken out in the glass preform 24. In the etching treatment step, the electric supply open holes 20 are formed by etching the modified parts, and the glass preform 24 is divided into the plurality of glass substrates 12 along the cutting scheduled lines 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
