Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple manufacturing method of a perfluoroalkyl compound, which becomes an important intermediate for organic electronic material, pharmaceutical, agricultural, polymeric functional material or the like, by using a derivative of phenylketone or benzaldehyde having a halogen atom at a para position of a benzene ring and monohydroperfluoroalkane as starting raw materials to a carbonyl group.SOLUTION: Alcohol having a benzene ring with a halogen atom at a para position and a perfluoroalkyl group (2a) is manufactured by reacting a base with monohydroperfluoroalkane (1a) and further reacting a derivative of phenylketone or benzaldehyde having a halogen atom at a para position of a benzene ring and monohydroperfluoroalkane to a carbonyl group, which are reaction schemes exemplified in the following scheme.SELECTED DRAWING: None
