Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method supporting wireless access to a storage device, and a mobile routing hotspot device. The method is applied to a mobile routing hotspot device, where the mobile routing hotspot device is connected to a storage device by using a USB interface, and the method includes: receiving, by the mobile routing hotspot device, an access request that is sent by user equipment in a wireless communications manner and that is for accessing a specified file in the storage device, where the access request carries information about the specified file; acquiring, by the mobile routing hotspot device, the specified file in the storage device according to the information about the specified file by using the USB interface; and outputting, by the mobile routing hotspot device, the specified file to the user equipment according to the access request in a wireless communications manner. In the embodiments of the present invention, a user can implement wireless access to a storage device by accessing a mobile routing hotspot device.
