Abstract:
To provide a method capable of suppressing the insolubilization of a lead component contained in fly ash and an another elution of the insolubilized mercury component by dispensing with chemical feed management using special chemical feed management equipment or experimental operation in an analysis chamber.SOLUTION: A method of this invention includes a step of mixing heavy metal containing ash containing lead component and mercury component with a heavy metal immobilizer that immobilizes the lead component and the mercury component. Here, the heavy metal immobilizer contains a chelate-based heavy metal immobilizer and a zinc compound. The chelate-based metal immobilizer preferably contains an organic compound having a dithiocarbamic acid. The zinc compound preferably contains a kind or more selected from a group consisting of zinc chloride, zinc acetate, zinc hyposulfite, zinc nitrate, zinc oxide, zinc hydroxide, zinc carbide, basic zinc carbide, zinc carbide, and zinc phosphate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
