Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide monoclonal antibodies, test tools, and test kits that can specifically detect Kudoa Meglitsch Myxosporea from fishes such as Paralichthys olivaceus directly.SOLUTION: A monoclonal antibody produced using as an antigen a protein constituting cells obtained by disrupting the spore coat and interior cells of the spore by freezing and melting Kudoa Meglitsch Myxosporea spores can specifically detect Kudoa Meglitsch Myxosporea, such as Kudoa septempunctata, from fishes directly, such as Paralichthys olivaceus in which spore unformed-Kudoa Meglitsch Myxosporea is also present, binding a protein constituting the internal structure of Kudoa Meglitsch Myxosporea, such as Kudoa septempunctata. A test kit using the monoclonal antibody can detect a large amount of fishes such as Paralichthys olivaceus, having a sampling tool comprising a circumferentially grooved bar such as a screw.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
