Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a radio ad-hoc network routing system that excels in power efficiency and scalability of communication capacity by switching MANET and DTN systems depending on the situation.SOLUTION: If the remaining amount of the battery of its own terminal is large, the terminal performs routing by the MANET which excels in an arrival rate and communication delay of packets in end-to-end transmission, and if the remaining amount of the battery is small, it switches to and performs routing by the DTN which excels in low power consumption and the scalability of communication capacity. At the same time, the own terminal performing the DTN finds two or more adjacent terminals, it relays packets to an adjacent terminal that can reach a terminal performing the MANET with the smallest number of path hops.
