Abstract:
To provide a multi-row ball bearing which can be expected to retard exchange timing even under an environment at which balls may be worn.SOLUTION: A multi-row ball bearing has an outer ring 3 having two or more rows of raceway surfaces 11, an inner ring 2 having two or more rows of raceway surfaces 10, and two more rows of balls 4 arranged between the raceway surfaces 11, 10 of the outer ring 3 and the inner ring 2 with contact angles α, β. The multi-row ball bearing is of a total-ball type having no cage. The raceway surfaces 10, 11 are formed into Gothic arch grooves, and the outer ring 3 and the inner ring 2 are split raceway rings which are split in center positions of the raceway surfaces at least at one raceway surface. An outside diameter Di1 of a groove shoulder part 12 of the inner ring 2 is larger than a pitch circle diameter PCD of the balls 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
