Abstract:
To provide a multiblade fan capable of restraining deterioration of efficiency and reducing noises, while restraining increase of costs.SOLUTION: A multiblade fan 200 includes an impeller 5, and a spiral casing 1 surrounding the impeller 5. The impeller 5 has a circular main plate 3, and plural blades 2. The plural blades 2 are respectively provided on both axial faces of the main plate 3. The casing 1 has bell-mouths 4 as suction ports provided respectively on both axial sides of the impeller 5. A protrusion 9 extending opposite to a radial outside of the main plate 3 is provided on an inner face 8 of the casing 1. The protrusion 9 projects inward of the casing 1. A cross section shape of the protrusion 9 vertical to an extension direction of the protrusion 9 is a triangle 90 having a bottom side 91 along the inner face 8 of the casing 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
