Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen manufacturing method capable of improving power consumption with suppressing increase of a cost, in a case of collecting low-pressure product nitrogen gas, with a deep cold type air separation method.SOLUTION: A nitrogen manufacturing device includes: an expansion turbine 72 provided in a first project nitrogen recovery line 27 positioned at a rear stage of a main heat exchanger 19, and configured to decompress first nitrogen gas flowing in the first product nitrogen recovery line 27, and produce power; and a nitrogen compressor 73 provided at the rear stage of the main heat exchanger 19, driven with power produced by the expansion turbine 72, and configured to boost second nitrogen gas flowing a second product nitrogen recovery line 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
