Title:
A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery and a battery system
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6011233
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery superior in safety when being normally charged and discharged, when being stored at a high temperature, and when being overcharged; and a battery system thereof.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery 1 according to the present invention comprises: an outer sheath 10; a power-generation element 3 and a nonaqueous electrolyte 5 which are placed in the outer sheath 10; a current cutoff mechanism 7 for cutting off current in response to the rise in a pressure inside the outer sheath 10; and a gas-generating additive agent which is added to the nonaqueous electrolyte 5, and generates gas as a result of a decomposition reaction when being put in an overcharged condition, provided that at least a primary component of the gas is not carbon dioxide. Part of the outer sheath 10 is formed by a CO-selecting permeable film 13 allowing carbon dioxide to pass therethrough selectively.
