Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an obstacle confirmation device and an obstacle confirmation method that can easily confirm if there is an obstacle in the vicinity of a reflector without requiring a worker to do visual confirmation work at a high place.SOLUTION: An obstacle confirmation device 1 is provided on a reflector 10 used for microwave radio communication and confirms if there is an obstacle that disturbs transmission or reception of radio waves. The obstacle confirmation device includes: a rail 2 installed along an outer edge of the reflector 10; a pedestal portion 3 movable on the rail 2; a camera 4 mounted on the pedestal portion 3; and a remote control 5 capable of operating the pedestal portion 3 and the camera 4. Because the device allows a user to move the pedestal portion 3, take a photo with the camera 4 by operation of the remote control 5, and determine by the image if there is an obstacle, it can be easily confirmed if there is an obstacle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
