Abstract:
To provide an opening building material which is excellent in design both on the outdoor side and on the indoor side without allowing a frame body and a stile body to be visually recognized in view both from the outdoor side and from the indoor side.SOLUTION: The opening building material includes the frame body formed by doing framework of an upper frame, a lower frame, and right and left vertical frames, at least one surface material unit having the stile body mounted to the inside of the frame body in a slidably movable manner and formed by doing framework of an upper frame, a lower frame, and light and left vertical frames, and an outdoor side wall part and an indoor side wall part provided on the outdoor side and on the indoor side of the frame body, respectively, for shielding the inside of the frame body while leaving a window opening. The stile body of the surface material unit where the window opening is set in a fully closed state is covered throughout four peripheries by the outdoor side wall part and the indoor side wall part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
