Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to efficiently and easily calibrate an imaging means within relevant imaging conditions, using technology that obtains from a captured image three-dimensional point group position data which complements three-dimensional point group position data obtained using a laser scanner. A laser scan of a building (120) is taken from a first viewpoint and three-dimensional point group position data is obtained. Elsewhere, stereo pair images of the sections of the building (120) that are blocked in the first viewpoint are captured from a second viewpoint. Then, a stereo pair image capture device (124) is calibrated using the three-dimensional point group position data by finding the correspondence between the stereo images obtained from the second viewpoint and the three-dimensional point group position data obtained from the first viewpoint.
