Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track support rigidity estimation method and system capable of easily and reliably estimating track support rigidity when a train is passing over a track.SOLUTION: A track support rigidity estimation method includes the steps for: applying a test load smaller than a train load on a rail 35 constructed on a sleeper installed on a ballast bed, and measuring a load and rail displacement at a load point; preparing an estimating formula to represent a relation between the load and rail displacement as a curved line; estimating rail displacement when a train load is applied on the load point on the basis of a measurement value of the load and rail displacement at the load point and the estimating formula; and calculating a load point track support rigidity by dividing the train load by the estimated rail displacement. The curved line inclination varies according to a sleeper support state in a range where the load is near that of the test load, while the inclination is nearly constant regardless of the sleeper support state in a range where the load is near that of the train load.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
