Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a lock mechanism to be installed in a gas switching chamber to work when the gas pressure is going drown, wherein the lock mechanism is constructed small, ensures easy resetting operations, and presents a high airtightness.
CONSTITUTION: Gas pressure sensing mechanisms 25, 29 will operate for sensing when the pressure of the gas encapsulated in a gas switch case 2 is going down to a certain level. In the switch case 2, a lock pin 45 is installed to lock the opening/closing mechanism in the case 2 while protruding in the axial direction in response to the sensing operations of these pressure sensing mechanisms 25, 29. In the gas encapsulation part, a gas encapsulating hole 21 for encapsulation of gas by insertion of a gas encapsulating jig is formed in the case 2 coaxially with the axis of the lock pin 45. This lock pin 45 is pressed oppositely to the protruding direction for actuating the reset when the gas encapsulating jig is inserted through the hole 21 in such a condition as screw engaged by an encapsulation plug 60.
