Abstract:

To provide a system for accurately managing palettes while reducing the amount of communication data as much as possible.SOLUTION: In a pallet tracking system, an LPWA transmitter is attached to a pallet 14. This transmitter transmits data including its own palette ID at predetermined time intervals. An LPWA server device 12 estimates a pallet position based on the data. Position acquisition means 2 acquires an estimated position of the pallet on the date and time from the LPWA server device. Lending estimation means 4 presumes that the pallet has been rented when a previous position of the pallet is in a pallet lending center and the current position is in a pallet-related area. Return estimation means 6 estimates that the pallet has been returned when the previous position of the pallet is other than a pallet lending center and the current position is in the pallet lending center. Base on lending estimation and return estimation, it is possible to accurately grasp whether the pallet is currently rented or standby.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
