PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact electromagnetic lock device which can limit movement of a moving member, which advances and retracts in a first direction, with further reliability, and a parking lock device equipped with the lock device.SOLUTION: A lock shaft 21 of an electromagnetic lock device 20 included in a parking lock device 1 includes a small diameter part 22 having a contact part 210 at a tip thereof and a large diameter part 23 having a diameter larger than that of the small diameter part 22. A plunger 31 of a solenoid part 30 is formed with a recess 310 in which the large diameter part 23 of the lock shaft 21 is inserted and which has a bottom surface 310b contacting an end surface 23b on a side opposite to the contact part 210 of the large diameter part 23. The lock shaft 21 and the plunger 31 are so energized by a spring 35 that the contact part 210 can contact with a roller 13 of a piston rod 12 and an end surface 23a of the small diameter part 22 side of the large diameter part 23 contacts a part of the solenoid part 30.
