Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an electron emission element in a simple process, at a high yield and at a low cost.
SOLUTION: In manufacturing an electron emission element, droplets of ink containing material to be raw material for a conductive film 4 is granted between a pair of each other opposing element electrodes 2, 3 on a substrate 1 and dried or fired to form the conductive film 4 and a current is supplied to the conductive film 4 to form an electron emission part 5. Part of the conductive film 4, when formed, where Joule heat easily occurs when a current is supplied to form the electron emission part 5, is formed for a latent image.
