Abstract:
To provide a pen point and a relay core capable of suppressing the phenomenon of drain back in a central part of a tip of the pen point coming in contact with an applied object at the time of application (writing) by including both of passability of liquid, and capillarity (liquid holding force), and capable of stabilizing application (writing).SOLUTION: A pen point 2 is obtained by bundling fibers in the longitudinal direction followed by adhering with a resin binder, and molding in a desired shape, or by mixing a large number of two or more kinds of fibers having different melting points, bundling and compressing while aligning them in the longitudinal direction, and binding them by thermofusion between the fibers. A cross section of the pen point 2 has a pen point first area 2a and a pen point second area 2b. The total sum of the number of both areas is three or more, and at least a part of an outline of the pen point first area 2a is arranged in contact with and adjacently to the pen point second area 2b. A channel width between the fibers through which liquid passes, of the pen point first area 2a is smaller than a channel width between the fibers through which liquid passes, of the pen point second area 2b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
