Abstract:
The binder has a conveying device for including a set of clamping devices for conveying a book block (8) along a closed circulating path. A set of processing stations are arranged successively along the closed circulating path. The processing stations include a spine-processing station, and an end sheet feed station (24) follows the spine-processing station. Each clamping device comprises an outside gripper (15) and an inside gripper (16) arranged inside the outside gripper. The outside gripper and the inside gripper respectively comprise a pair of holding elements. An independent claim is also included for a method for binding book blocks.
