Abstract:
To provide a lead for a pet in which the escape of the pet can be prevented without complicating its handling.SOLUTION: A lead 1A for a pet includes a main lead 10 having a handle 115 in a base end side, and a hooking side lead 20A having snap swivels 22, 23 connected to a collar 4 or a harness 3 in the tip side. The hooking side lead 20A is provided with the snap swivels 22, 23 in both end sides of a string-like member 21, in which one is connected to the collar 4 and the other is connected to the harness 3 or a second collar 4. In the main lead 10, the ring hardware 120 of the tip side of a string-like member 11 is connected to the hooking side lead 20A while an intermediate portion of the hooking side lead 20A is inserted longitudinally and loosely. The diameter of connection reinforcing parts 220, 230 of the snap swivels 22, 23 of its base end side is larger than the ring inner diameter of the ring hardware 120, and thereby the ring hardware 120 may not be removed from both end sides of the hooking side lead 20A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
