Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric transducer which improves a photoelectric transduction property and also improves durability (heat resistance and continuous light radiation durability during forcible water addition), a photoelectrochemical cell and a metal complex dye used therefor.SOLUTION: The photoelectric transducer has a laminated structure in which a photoreceptor including a layer of semiconductor fine particles to which the metal complex dye is adsorbed, a charge transfer body and a counter electrode are disposed at an upper side of a conductive support. The photoelectric transducer uses a metal complex dye represented by a formula (1) of RuLLXCI as the metal complex dye [in the formula (1), L, Land X represent specific ligands and CI represents a counter ion required for neutralizing electric charge].
