Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image projection system that can display an image with a high contrast even in a bright environment.SOLUTION: An image projection system comprises: a projection surface member including a selective light reflection layer that can selectively reflect polarized light; a projection device that projects, to the projection surface member, first light including the polarized light that can be reflected on the selective light reflection layer and can display an image with the first light reflected on the selective light reflection layer; and a second light supply source that can illuminate the projection surface member with second light. The second light is reverse polarized light to the polarized light that is included in the first light and can be reflected on the selective light reflection layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
