Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image shake arrester capable of obtaining a favorable image whose image shake is prevented regardless of kinds of an imaging device and facilitating downsizing of a camera and systematization using PoE.SOLUTION: An image shake arrester includes: a first motor (Mp) for making a camera unit (CM) perform pan operation; a second motor (Mt) for making the camera unit (CM) perform tilt operation; an acceleration sensor (9) mounted onto the camera unit (CM); and a controller (20) for controlling the operation of the first motor (Mp) and the second motor (Mt) so as to decrease the acceleration generated in the camera unit (CM) based on a sensor signal (SN2) output from the acceleration sensor (9) when acceleration occurs with the camera unit (CM) under a state where neither pan operation nor tilt operation is executed.
